Every workshop we conduct, every film we make, every song we write, and every excuse I ever make to anyone has one large element in common. They are all stories! Mostly true and some fictional, but stories they are.

The beauty of storytelling lies, of course, in the ability to hold the audience's attention and to convince them that the story is worth it. This audience for me is whomever we need to focus on, at that moment.

I've written speeches for CEOs, composed Corporate Anthems with people participating in the process, and have trained new leaders on how to address large audiences. I have also, always, been able to convince the cops that I've never had a drink in my life, after three large ones.

Great storytelling has its benefits, you see...

Cheers! That was the fourth one. ;)

BTW, the greatest stories are lived, not told. :)
